Clay shooting competitions, guns and shooting equipment on sale, have-a-go activities, plus much more, at the West of England Game Fair 2019

The Royal Bath & West Showground, Somerset welcomes the West of England Game Fair on Saturday March 16 and Sunday March 17, 2019. This important countryside event celebrates 24 years of entertaining the public and creating a platform for countryside traditions and issues to be promoted and supported.

Bristol Clay Shooting will provide 50-clay competitions on both days with categories: open, ladies and juniors, plus a ‘have-a-go’ stand.

The British Association for Shooting & Conservation (BASC) will have a team of accredited coaches to help you whatever level you are at – from picking up your first shotgun to tips for the more experienced shot. The lesson will include gun fit, master eye test, safety and shooting tuition.

A great selection of guns and shooting equipment will be available to purchase at the show, making this a must see event for the shooting enthusiast.

The event also has a wonderful mix of have-a-go activities including archery; ATEO air rifles (coaching and have-a-go, including an under-13s competition); National Target Sports Association; terrier, lurcher and family dog shows; fascinating demonstrations both indoor and outdoor – top names in the areas of falconry; wildfowling; ferreting; gun dog training; Fly Casting and more. There’s also a fantastic shopping village, under cover in the five halls, showcasing products from over 300 companies.
